Blue Group - The first named team has the first pre-game practice session.
Red Group - The first named team has the first pre-game practice, except for the 2nd game where a coin toss determines the 1st and 2nd practice.
Green Group - The first named team has the first pre-game practice, except for the 1st game where a coin toss determines the 1st and 2nd practice.
At the conclusion of the team's pre-game practice, one player delivers one stone to the tee at the home end. The team with the better Last Stone Draw (LSD) has the choice of the placement of the stationary stones in the first end. If the LSDs are the same, a coin toss will determine which team has the choice.
Training on 17 April is for 15 minutes on each sheet, switching from A, to B, to C, to D, to E.
First named teams in each draw play the stones with the dark coloured handles and wear dark coloured upper playing garments.
